According to Inc., a monthly magazine aimed toward entrepreneurs and business owners, its list of the 5000 Fastest-Growing Companies in America celebrates “the superheroes of the U.S. economy.”

These private companies “wield powers like strategy, service, and innovation,” the magazine states. The list features “businesses that exercise the body and the mind, push the boundaries of virtual reality and 3-D printing, and delight fans with rock concerts and superheroes.”

Delaware County is home to 14 of the 5000 Fastest-Growing Companies in America. Its neighbors, Montgomery County and Chester County, feature 38 and 23, respectively.
