Just Four Years After Last Sale, Pair of Office Buildings in Glen Mills Sells for $13 Million More

By

The Crozer-Keystone Health System leases the building that was just bought at 300 Evergreen Drive.

An undisclosed buyer has bought two medical office buildings in the Brinton Lake Corporate Center in Glen Mills for $52 million, writes Natalie Kostelni for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The buildings at 300 Evergreen Drive and 500 Evergreen Drive were sold as a two-building portfolio. The Crozer Medical Plaza, which totals 65,000 square feet, sold for $26.5 million, an increase of more than $6 million over its sale four years ago.

Its companion building, the Crozer Medical Plaza and Crozer Cancer Center, a three-story medical office covering 60,000 square feet, sold for $25.48 million, compared to the $18.06 million it went for in 2012.

The land for the Brinton Lake project was bought by Fred Weitzman of Bala Cynwyd’s Wynnewood Development in Oct. 1997. He quickly broke ground on the Shoppes at Brinton Lake, a 150,000-square-foot lifestyle center. The project was aimed at the growing population in Concord and Glen Mills.

The office portion of the development, along with a Costco, was added later.
