Founded and sponsored by the Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia, Neumann University is a private, Catholic, co-educational institution located in Aston. It is rooted in the Franciscan tradition, which emphasizes respect for individuals, concern for the environment, and social responsibility. Neumann offers undergraduate degrees in a broad variety of subjects, three doctoral programs, six Master’s Degree programs, and an accelerated Bachelor’s Degree program for adults.

Assistant Director of Admissions

This position will assist in the daily activities of an effective and comprehensive admissions program, and will promote the university through travel, written correspondence, oral communication, and other means as required. Responsibilities include coordinating, planning, and scheduling of high school and two-year university recruitment visits. Additional responsibilities require the successful candidate to assist in the training and orientation of new admissions counselors and coordinate the planning and implementation of all undergraduate on campus recruitment programs.

The ideal candidate will have earned at least a Bachelor’s Degree, and have a minimum of three years of experience in an Admissions/Enrollment Management setting. Candidates must possess an appreciation for and congruence with the Catholic Franciscan mission of the University.

Financial Aid Counselor – Loans

This position provides administrative, programmatic, and technical services to the office of Financial Assistance. He/she will assist with counseling and interviewing regarding financial aid programs and individual circumstances. The person will administer, facilitate, and reconcile of all aspects of federal and alternative loans, updating information on Office of Financial Assistance webpage and email communication. The individual will also oversee administration and reconciliation of all loan programs, including updating transfer monitoring, ensuring the Master Promissory Note, Entrance Counseling, and Exit Counseling requirements are met for each student.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree, and have a minimum of two years of experience in higher education financial assistance. He/she should have excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills. Knowledge of federal and state aid programs is required.
