Aston-based 2SP Brewing Company celebrated its first anniversary last week with a high-energy party at the brewery.

The beer specials included deals on drafts as well as $5 growler fills for people who wanted to take the party home.  The Flying Deutschman and Mom-Mom’s Polish Food Cart food trucks came out to feed the hungry crowd.

Delaware County native Bob Barrar is 2SP’s head brewer, and is known for his impressive collection of medals from the Great American Beer Festival and the World Beer Cup during his time working at Iron Hill in Media.

A treasure in our backyard, 2SP is open every day and releases a new beer every week on New Tap Tuesday

Social media users can follow 2SP to see what the new beer will be by following #NewTapTuesday.

On any given day, visitors to the brewery will have over 15 2SP beers to choose from, some of which, like the Wino Gold, was brewed in partnership with other breweries.

The Wino Gold is a collaboration with Weyerbacher Brewing Company of Easton, and is a saison, the perfect summer style for refreshment.

The brewery does offer a limited menu every day, including their Brewers’ cheeseboard, two rotating panini press sandwiches, and bagged snacks.  Every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, visitors to the brewery will be treated by a food truck, the schedule for which is available on the 2SP website: www.2SPBrewing.com.

Brewery tours on Saturday at 1 PM and 2 PM and Sundays at 5 PM are a special treat for anyone wanting a lesson in making beer or just to take a peek behind the scenes.
