The latest addition to Royal Farms in Delaware County has officially opened its doors to customers with a recent ribbon-cutting ceremony, writes Peg DeGrassa for the Delaware County News Network.

The new 5,300-square-foot Store #192 at 3314 Market Street in Upper Chichester employs 40 workers and features a full food court that offers quick grab-and-go meals, salads, and sandwiches with eat-in and eat-out tables.

The store also offers its customers its own brand of chips, candy bars, and everything you would expect from a 24-hour convenience store with the added bonus of 16 fuelling stations.

“We want people to come in and give us a try,” said store manager Tyler White. “We had about 300 or more people come check us out on opening day.”

White also took the opportunity to answer one key question, which, according to his smile, he often gets asked. “How the convenience store will compete in Wawa territory?”

“We’re not scared to compete,” he said. “We’re confident people will really like us.”
