Swiss Farms, the Broomall-based drive-thru market, has announced a new local partnership benefitting PathWays PA, an organization dedicated to helping vulnerable women, teens, and children stabilize their lives.

Starting this week, Swiss Farms will donate excess fresh-food product to PathWays PA by providing approximately 250 to 350 meals a week.

Not only will the meals offer much-needed nourishment for the women and children living at PathWays PA residences, but the fresh products will also be used in life-skills classes to teach families how to maintain a healthy, balanced lifestyle.

Swiss Farms has served the Delaware County community for almost five decades and has participated in numerous charitable efforts over the years. The partnership with PathWays PA is part of a renewed commitment to providing fresh, wholesome, and convenient food options.

“As we continue to offer more wholesome, prepared fresh food and respond to the evolving needs of our customers, we asked ‘How else can we have a positive impact on the community that has embraced Swiss Farms for almost 50 years?’ and donating excess food to PathWays PA seemed like an extension of serving our customers and community,” said Scott Simon, CEO of Swiss Farms.

“Removing the hurdle of food insecurity and providing the women and children we serve with three wholesome meals a day is paramount to building stable families on the path to economic independence,” said Brenda Dawson, President and CEO of PathWays PA.
