Burger-Beer-Joint-LogoWayne’s Larsen MacColl Partners, a private equity firm, has formed a partnership with the developer and franchisor of Florida-based Burger & Beer Joint to expand the restaurant’s presence across the United States.

The sports and rock-and-roll themed restaurant chain launched in 2009 and now has seven locations, writes Kenneth Hilario of the Philadelphia Business Journal.

It will open 15 more over the next four years, including more in Florida, Texas, California, Washington, D.C., and other cities across the northern and southeastern United States.

“With the help of Larsen MacColl, we are able to aggressively seek out potential franchisees in our targeted geographic locations,” said Bill Herman, B&B president and CEO. “We are actively seeking franchisee partners in the Philadelphia area and other high-density markets throughout the northeast.”

According to Hilario, the chain is known for its burgers named after rock-and-roll songs, including “Mustang Sally,” “Hotel California,” and “Thunder Road.”
