The California home of the late Philadelphia Flyers owner Ed Snider in Montecito is now on sale for $52 million by his estate, writes Candace Taylor for The Wall Street Journal.

The Italian-inspired home is situated on more than nine landscaped acres with gorgeous views of the ocean and the nearby mountains. Constructed by Snider 15 years ago, the eight-bedroom main house encompasses over 21,300 square feet.

When Snider was at home, the lower-level family room with its bar, flat-screen televisions, and home theater with room for 20, was often a venue for watching sporting events, especially Flyers games.

In addition to the stunning home, the property has a two-bedroom guesthouse, a swimming pool with an adjacent one-bedroom cabana, a tennis court, and a pavilion with wet bar and rooftop viewing deck.

The estate is listed by agents Susan Burns from Coldwell Banker Previews International and Jason Siemens of Sotheby’s International Realty.
