The Philadelphia Union Foundation’s fourth annual Cocktails and Cleats celebration will be held on November 10 at Vie in Downtown Philadelphia.

The event is an opportunity to recognize people who make a difference in the community, bring attention to challenges and opportunities where help might be needed, and acquire the resources for effective solutions.

The Foundation promises an exclusive and enjoyable evening among friends with great food and drinks. During the event, recipients of the “Building Blocks” award will be recognized along with other patrons who have generously supported the Foundation’s mission.

A philanthropic extension of the Philadelphia Union Soccer Club whose home is Talen Energy Stadium in Chester, the Foundation focuses on programs that provide opportunities for youth to reach their maximum potential.

“It is our aim to have a positive impact on children with respect to character development, academic performance, and physical well-being,” said Michael Curry, the Foundation’s Chairman.

Among its philanthropic work last year, PUF provided a $25,000 donation to Philabundance and Fare & Square for their Fare & Square grocery store located in Chester, the first non-profit food store in the entire country.
