Applied Card Systems was founded in 1987 to provide credit-card processing and servicing resources to small- and mid-sized financial institutions. Correspondence Supervisor

This position will supervise the associates and manage workflow for regulatory and executive correspondence referrals. He/she will monitor, evaluate, coach, and provide feedback to both department associates and company management. The person will review and submit to the president all reply correspondence to the FDIC, other regulatory agencies, and customers.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in English, Communications, or Writing. He/she will have at least one year of customer-service experience, and at least one year of executive-correspondence experience. The person will also have knowledge of federal consumer regulations, including Regulations Z, B, and E, as well as FCRA, FDCPA.

Accountant

This position is responsible for the daily activities of all assigned operating real estate assets, serving as an accounting contact for property management, leasing, and senior management, as well as managing a defined periodic reporting process for these assets. He/she will maintain monthly bank and balance sheet account reconciliations.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, and have three or more years of accounting experience. He/she should have strong financial accounting and analytical skills, and should have sound comprehension of GAAP and RE industry specialized accounting/reporting.

Loan Operations Risk Analyst

This position will promote initiatives to reduce operational risk, increase efficiency, and support business growth by the daily work flow related to Loan Administration, including ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and department reporting. He/she will perform credit verification of new loan bookings and renewals to ensure all credit approval conditions are met prior to booking and disbursing the loan. The person will also review, reconcile, and manage loan documents in the post-closing environment.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field. He/she should have one to two years of experience in financial services, and have a quality assurance or audit background. Overall knowledge of banking and back office operations (especially commercial lending operations) is desirable.
