After three years of operating losses, Radnor’s Cabrini College has obtained some debt relief through waiver of certain agreements with its bondholders, writes Harold Brubaker of the Philadelphia Inquirer.

The school enrolled 2,253 in the current academic year. Cabrini lost $8.4 million on operations in the 2015 fiscal year, more than its loss of $6.3 million the year before.

According to Brubaker, Cabrini had $32.24 million in long-term debt.

A Cabrini spokeswoman told the Inquirer that the school has the financial strength to withstand short-term losses and that it was confident that “our increasing trend in enrollment numbers will continue to strengthen our finances.”
