Artificial intelligence is transforming nearly every industry. This summer, local high school students can explore this new frontier firsthand for free at Widener University.
Computer Science AI Summer Camp runs Tuesday, July 14, through Wednesday, July 15, from 9 AM to 4 PM each day in Freedom Hall on the Chester campus.
Designed for motivated rising ninth through 12th graders, this two-day hands-on experience introduces students to the exciting world of artificial intelligence, machine learning, generative AI, data science, and deep learning.
No previous coding or AI experience is required. Students only need curiosity, creativity, and an interest in learning about one of today’s fastest-growing technologies.
Throughout the camp, participants will learn how AI works and how it is used in everyday life.
The camp offers the students more than just a fun summer activity. Students build STEM skills, strengthen college applications, and connect with peers who share similar interests in technology and innovation.
Though the camp is free, advance registration is required, and space is limited.
Students interested in technology, computer science, engineering, or future STEM careers won’t want to miss this opportunity to explore artificial intelligence in a university setting while experiencing life on the Widener campus.
