On May 8, ChesPenn Health Services marked a meaningful milestone — hosting its very first Women’s Health Fair at the East Side facility in Chester.
The event brought together patients, staff, community partners, sponsors, and local leadership for a day centered entirely on women: their health, their wellbeing, and the resources available to support them at every stage of life.
More than 20 organizations participated, offering information and services ranging from maternal health and behavioral health to insurance navigation, recovery support, and preventive care. Chester Mayor Stefan Roots was among those on hand, underscoring the city’s investment in the health of its residents.
The fair reflected what ChesPenn does best — meeting people where they are, breaking down barriers to care, and building the kind of community connections that make health education accessible to everyone, not just those who can afford it.
That this was ChesPenn’s first Women’s Health Fair makes it all the more significant. It signals a growing commitment to expanding outreach, deepening community partnerships, and ensuring that the women of Chester and Delaware County know they are seen, supported, and cared for.
ChesPenn extends its heartfelt thanks to all participating organizations and sponsors — including Wawa, Chick-fil-A, Target, HERR’S, MOM (Maternal Outcomes Matter), Catholic Social Services, UDTJ, and the City of Chester — whose generosity made the day possible.
