Renowned Animal Scientist and Autism Advocate Temple Grandin to Return to DelVal to Present Research

Temple Grandin has had a profound impact on animal behavior and welfare.

Temple Grandin, the renowned animal scientist and autism advocate, will return to Delaware Valley University on Wednesday, April 29. Grandin will discuss her book, The Grandin Papers, which features more than 50 years of research on animal behavior and welfare that changed the livestock industry.

“Over the last 50 years, Dr. Grandin has had a profound impact on animal behavior and welfare,” said Dr. Broc Sandelin, Dean of DelVal’s School of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences. “It is a privilege to have her share her insight and experience with our community.”

The event, co-hosted with Future Horizons, a world leader in autism and sensory resources and conferences, will be held in DelVal’s Life Sciences Building. Doors will open at 5:30 PM, and Grandin will speak at 6:30 PM, followed by a Q&A and book signing. The event will conclude at 9 PM.
