The Soda Spot's location at Booth's Corner Farmers Market in Garnet Valley.

The Soda Spot had a grand opening on Friday, April 24, and Saturday, April 25, at Booth’s Corner Farmers Market, 1362 Naamans Creek Road in Garnet Valley.

The shop features handcrafted dirty sodas, writes Peg DeGrassa for the Daily Times.

It is the area’s first store dedicated to handcrafted dirty sodas, continuing a beverage trend in Utah that has grown in popularity.

The store features customizable sodas blending syrups, creams and mix-ins.

There are signature creations or you can build your own. This week’s special drink combos include:

• Creamsicle: blending orange, vanilla, cream, and whipped cream.

• Blue Lagoon: mixing Sprite with blue raspberry, lime, coconut, and cream.

• Ginger Lime Cookie: ginger ale with lime, cookie dough flavor, and cream.

The Soda Spot also has customizable caffeinated lemonades, tea refreshers, and individually-crafted Italian cream sodas.

A signature item for The Soda Spot is its Dirty Bananas, frozen bananas dipped in a choice of coatings and an assortment of toppings.

The dirty soda regional trend in the western United States has now gone national thanks to social media and a particular fondness for the beverage from Gen Z, according to Forbes.
