Cugini’s Italian Kitchen, a new Sicilian restaurant serving authentic Italian dishes, has opened its doors at the site of the former New Hope Star Diner in Solebury, writes Jeff Werner for Patch.
With decades of restaurant industry experience, cousins Anthony Adragna and Frank Picone opened their latest venture in late March following extensive renovations to the building.
Customers can enjoy their menu featuring chicken parmesan, New York strip steak, honey grilled salmon, and pizza options, including vegetarian, sausage, patate, Sicilian, and Margherita.
Other highlights include the Cugini Pasta, with fettuccine, calabrese sausage, mushrooms, peppers, green onions, and spinach in a creamy tomato sauce.
Their homemade lasagna is another standout dish, made with calabrese sausage, ricotta, mozzarella, and tomato sauce.
“Opening a restaurant is both an exciting and humbling journey,” the owners posted on Facebook. “With each service, we are refining, elevating, and dedicating ourselves to delivering the exceptional experience you deserve.”
“It is an honor to begin this chapter surrounded by such a wonderful community. We look forward to welcoming you and serving you with care and intention,” they continued.
Already, the restaurant has received high praise from diners, complimenting the delicious food and welcoming atmosphere.
