After 27 Years, Meghan’s Restaurant in Glen Mills Heading to Market

Meghan's Restaurant in Glen Mills is for sale after 27 years of offering breakfast and lunch.

After 27 years, Meghan’s Restaurant in Glen Mills is up for sale, with the current owners hoping that the new buyer will carry on the tradition of the restaurant, writes June Bakan for the Patch.

The popular breakfast and lunch spot, open six days a week, will continue operating as usual in the meantime.

“Nothing would make us happier than seeing a new family or ownership group carry on the Meghans’ tradition here in Garnet Valley,” said the owners in a Monday announcement. “At the same time, we understand that someone may bring a new vision to the space, and we support that possibility as well.”

Laurie Skelley and Dan Wesolowski opened the eatery on March 17, 1998. Menu staples include huge omelets, sandwiches, salads, and desserts.

After nearly three decades of operating Meghan’s, the business partners said that it was time to move on to their next chapter. They asked for continued support from the community during the transition.

“We promise to keep the community informed and to share updates as the future becomes clearer, including if or when the business changes hands and what that may look like,” they said.
