More than 100 businesses were recently celebrated by Firstrust Bank, the Official Bank of the Philadelphia Eagles, and the Eagles through the Brotherly Shove Business Spotlight, a program focused on supporting and promoting businesses across the Greater Philadelphia area.

The celebration took place at the Firstrust Bank Club at the Eagles Stadium, bringing together local business owners and community members.

“At Firstrust, we know that local businesses are the backbone of our community,” said Matt Hein, Executive Vice President and Chief Banking Officer. “You are the innovators and risk-takers that help our region grow, and we’re honored that you applied and grateful for the opportunity to shine a spotlight on your work.”

In his opening remarks, Eagles Insider Dave Spadaro highlighted the unique challenge Eagles center Cam Jurgens faces balancing entrepreneurship with a full-time career in the NFL.

“The story of Cam Jurgens, the football player, is one aspect,” said Spadaro. “But the story of Cam Jurgens, the young entrepreneur, may be even more unconventional.”

Jurgens shared insights into the Eagles’ 2025 season and how growing up on a cattle farm in Nebraska led to the creation of his premium beef jerky company, Jurgy.

“I grew up going deer hunting with my dad and brother and making deer jerky and summer sausage, so I’ve always enjoyed that side of things,” said Jurgens. “We really try to be organic and create a good product because at the end of the day, that is really what matters and how you will be successful.”

The event also recognized Havertown Carpet Co. as the winner of this season’s Brotherly Shove Business Spotlight program. The business was selected from more than 700 entries submitted by privately owned companies across Greater Philadelphia with annual revenues between $1 million and $50 million.

“Winning the Brotherly Shove Business Spotlight is honestly incredible,” said Shane Barry, owner of Havertown Carpet Co. “I want to thank Firstrust and the Philadelphia Eagles for this amazing opportunity, which has helped us gain a lot of exposure.”

As the winner, Havertown Carpet Co. received up to $25,000 in promotional support. This included recognition on the Eagles’ video board during a 2025 home game, digital billboard advertising, paid social media promotion, and tickets to Eagles games in Firstrust Bank’s Touchdown Terrace.

Five businesses were selected as finalists:

  • Budd Pools & Spas
  • Star Medical
  • Dlivrd, LLC
  • The Master’s Baker
  • Karley’s Rentals

And five businesses were awarded honorable mention:

  • SSH Facilities
  • Elbow Lane Day Camp and School
  • Modern Optometry
  • Backyard Eats
  • Speck’s Drive-In

The Brotherly Shove Business Spotlight program launched during the 2024 season. The first program winner was Oliver Heating & Cooling.
