Firstrust Bank and the Philadelphia Eagles recently celebrated Havertown Carpet Co. as the winner of the Brotherly Shove Business Spotlight, a program focused on uplifting and promoting businesses in the Greater Philadelphia area.

As the winner of the Brotherly Shove Business Spotlight, Havertown Carpet Co. has been awarded up to $25,000 in promotional assets, including mention on the Eagles Video Board during a 2025 season home game, digital billboard ads, paid social media content, radio spots, two tickets for three Eagles home games in Firstrust Bank’s Touchdown Terrace, and more to support its growth and brand awareness.

Havertown Carpet Co. was selected out of more than 700 entries from privately owned, for-profit businesses in Greater Philadelphia with annual revenue between $1 million and $50 million.

“Firstrust is proud to champion local businesses and help them succeed in every quarter of the year,” said Tim Abell, CEO and President of Firstrust Bank. “Our mission is to cultivate prosperity for our customers, employees, and the communities we serve — and the Brotherly Shove Business Spotlight is one way we bring that mission to life. We’re proud to support Havertown Carpet Co., another family-owned business with deep local roots, as it continues to grow.”

Founded in 2015, Havertown Carpet Co. is a family-owned-and-operated business that sells and installs residential and commercial carpet and flooring, serving customers across the Greater Philadelphia area, including all of Delaware, Montgomery, and Chester counties, as well as parts of Bucks and Berks counties.

“I was in disbelief when I got the call; I never imagined our business would be selected,” said Shane Barry, owner of Havertown Carpet Co. “We’re grateful for this ‘Brotherly Shove’ from Firstrust Bank and the Philadelphia Eagles, and we’re looking forward to growing our brand awareness across the region. We want people to know that we don’t just serve Havertown residents, and we don’t only sell carpets — we’re more than that. Partnering with these two powerhouse institutions will help us reach even more communities.”

For more than a decade, Havertown Carpet Co. has focused on making home improvements simple and stress-free by prioritizing a smoother, transparent, and more reliable floor-buying experience. Like the Eagles, the company takes a competitive approach, striving to create opportunities while supporting its teammates along the way. The business has grown from a mobile shop-at-home to two showroom locations, one in Havertown and another in Malvern, and has acquired three local flooring businesses with plans to acquire a fourth this fall and open its third showroom location.

“We are thrilled to join Firstrust Bank in recognizing Havertown Carpet Co. as the winner of this year’s Brotherly Shove Business Spotlight,” said Brian Napoli, Senior Vice President of Corporate Partnerships with the Eagles. “Havertown Carpet Co. is a local business whose reputation is built on superior customer service, an award-winning range of quality products, and a commitment to community service. We proudly congratulate owner Shane Barry and his entire team on this well-deserved honor.”

Just as Firstrust Bank and the Philadelphia Eagles are committed to giving back and strengthening the communities they serve, Havertown Carpet Co. carries that same spirit of generosity. Each year, the family-owned business hosts its annual Teacher Appreciation Event, donating hundreds of free rugs to local educators for their classrooms. Inspired by the owner’s wife, a former life skills and autistic support teacher, the event was born from a deep understanding of how much teachers personally invest in their classrooms. Since 2021, Havertown Carpet Co. has donated more than 2,000 rugs, helping create warm, welcoming spaces for students across the region.

The company recently hosted their annual event in August, when they gave away 551 rugs. In addition to the promotional package, the Eagles will donate $5,000 to Havertown Carpet Co. to help provide additional free rugs for teachers in Greater Philadelphia.

Beyond the Brotherly Shove Business Spotlight, as the Official Bank of the Eagles, Firstrust Bank supports entrepreneurship programs in Philadelphia-area high schools, offers Eagles-themed banking products, and, along with the Green Family Foundation, has pledged more than $1 million to the Eagles Autism Foundation.
