The Foundation for Delaware County announces the return of Delco Gives, the area’s largest day of giving, May 6–7, 2026.
Power Home Remodeling (POWER) is serving as the presenting sponsor. This online giving event will again rally thousands of residents, businesses, and organizations to support nonprofits serving Delaware County.
Delco Gives will kick off with a launch event at Media’s outdoor Dining Under the Stars on State Street on May 6. The celebration will culminate on the evening of May 7 with a high-energy, family-friendly Closing Celebration at the WSFS Bank Sportsplex.
The Closing Celebration will bring together nonprofits, donors, volunteers, and neighbors from across Delaware County for an evening filled with prizes, games, food, music, special guests, and more. With ample parking and plenty of space to gather, the Sportsplex provides an ideal setting for the community to come together and celebrate the impact of collective generosity.
“Delco Gives is about more than a single day of donations — it’s about strengthening connections across our community,” said Michael Kellerman, president of The Foundation for Delaware County. “When we come together, as donors and neighbors, we create real, lasting impact. We encourage you to come out, engage, and celebrate what it means to be All In for Delco.”
Hosted by The Foundation for Delaware County, Delco Gives provides participating nonprofits with the opportunity to raise critical funding to support services ranging from food assistance and emergency housing to arts programming, youth development, healthcare, animal welfare, and more. Thanks to generous sponsors, nonprofits can also earn cash prizes and benefit from a bonus pool that distributes additional funds based on the total number of unique donors the organization receives, regardless of gift size.
Last year, more than 11,000 donors raised $2.3 million for more than 300 local nonprofits. In its first two years, Delco Gives has generated nearly $4 million for local nonprofits.
The May 7 celebration will recognize the extraordinary generosity demonstrated throughout the giving event and highlight the power of community-driven philanthropy.
The community is encouraged to:
- Mark their calendars for May 6–7, 2026
- Support and promote their favorite local nonprofits
- Attend the free Closing Celebration on May 7, 2026
More details about the Closing Celebration will be announced in the coming weeks.
