Widener University will welcome prospective undergraduate students to campus for its Widener Day open house on Sunday, March 1, from 10 AM to 2 PM. The event invites families to explore the campus in Chester and get an inside look at what it’s like to be part of the Widener community.
“A college degree opens doors to opportunity and long-term success,” said Courtney Kelly, associate vice president for enrollment. “We look forward to meeting families and showing them who we are. They’ll experience our culture of belonging and learn about the inside track to career success, which is fueled by distinguished faculty, high-impact learning opportunities, and innovative degree paths.”
Registration for the event is open online.
Throughout the day, guests will have opportunities to engage with faculty, staff, and current students. The schedule includes information sessions, guided tours, one-on-one conversations, and panel discussions covering topics such as academics, housing, and student life. Admissions and financial aid staff will also be available to answer questions about the application process, affordability, and next steps.
Visitors can enjoy lunch in the Pride Café, featuring dishes prepared by Widener’s award-winning Chef Matthew Clarke.
Students and families interested in attending are encouraged to RSVP through the Widener Day open house registration page.
