Nordstrom Rack, the discount-price division of fashion retailer Nordstrom, is opening a store in fall 2026 at Promenade at Granite Run, writes Jeff Blumenthal for Philadelphia Business Journal.
The Nordstrom Rack store joins TJ Maxx, Michaels, Kohl’s, and Boscov’s at the mixed-use community in Media. A small-format IKEA store is opening there in the spring.
Nordstrom Rack offers up to 70 percent discounts on brand-name apparel, shoes, accessories, and home goods compared to the Nordstrom main stores. It features overstocked items, last season’s merchandise, and products specifically made for Nordstrom Rack.
A Nordstrom Rack store is also coming to Exton, along with two stores in South Jersey.
The Seattle-based Nordstrom has been expanding its Nordstrom Rack division since it went private last year.
The new Nordstrom Rack locations give the chain 10 stores in the Philadelphia area, including Nordstrom stores at the King of Prussia Mall, Cherry Hill Mall, and Christiana Mall.
Nordstrom started as a shoe store in 1901. Today, the chain operates more than 350 stores across the Nordstrom, Nordstrom Local, and Nordstrom Rack brands.
It generated $15 billion in revenue in fiscal 2024, up from $14.7 billion in the prior year.
