Koselig Nook, designed as a cozy “third place” for gathering or quiet alone time, is expected to open in Exton later this month, writes Brooke Schultz for The Philadelphia Inquirer.
Owner Aracelis Mullin intentionally designed the teahouse to evoke calm, using welcoming furniture, soft lighting and curated scents. The space is a relaxing stopping point between work, school and home, offering visitors a spot to get together, craft, and focus on wellness, among other options.
After opening in Coatesville in 2024, Koselig Nook is relocating to Exton to create a more central destination for county customers and those coming from Philadelphia.
“The whole idea and the purpose is to bring the people out of their houses and to enjoy another place where they can network or just spend some time or talk,” said Mullin.
Named for a Norwegian term meaning contentment and coziness, the space offers a safe, comfortable alternative to social settings centered on bars and drinking.
Koselig Nook will be open for studying or work from 11 AM to 3 PM. Tuesday through Friday for $25, with evening hours from 7 PM to 11 PM on Fridays and Saturdays for $35.
