New Assistant Manager on Board at Ridley Creek State Park Complex

Emma Isaacson has been named the new assistant manager for the Ridley Creek State Park Complex, which includes Ridley Creek State Park in Media.

A Bucks County native has been named the new assistant manager for the Ridley Creek State Park Complex, encompassing Ridley Creek State Park as well as Big Elk Creek State Park and White Clay Creek Preserve.

Emma Isaacson was named to the position by the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Secretary Cindy Adams Dunn on Friday, writes Max Bennett for Patch.

Isaacson assists with oversight of the park complex, which offers hiking, fishing, horseback riding, and wildlife watching.

“I am falling in love with this area and enjoy seeing how important these parks are to visitors,” Isaacson said. “I am eager to continue connecting with the community and learning from the local groups and volunteers that help make these natural spaces special.”

Dunn said Isaacson’s commitment and people skills will be an asset to the Ridley Creek Complex and the surrounding community.

Issacson, from Langhorne, grew up visiting Tyler State Park, later earning an undergraduate degree in conservation  and wildlife management from Delaware Valley University.

She was a resource ranger at Nockamixon State Park in 2024. She joined the park manager trainee program, spending time at Delaware Canal and Ridley Creek state parks.
