The Philadelphia region’s restaurant renaissance continues in 2026, with the opening of 40 new restaurants, bars, breweries, wineries, and other eateries.

Wonder is a New York-based multi-menu quick-service takeout chain that has been rapidly expanding in the area.
Its newest location is coming Jan. 22 to 5045 Township Line Road in Drexel Hill.
Napa Kitchen and Wine opens in Newtown Square’s Ellis Preserve in early February.
Testa Rossa, the popular casual Italian-American restaurant from Fearless Restaurants in Glen Mills, is getting a second location in Wayne this summer at 523 W. Lancaster Ave.
Restaurateurs Philip and Kate Ferro plan to debut their Nashville honky-tonk Boondocks Bar and Grill in Glen Mills this fall.
Meanwhile, at Philadelphia International Airport, local brands PrimoHoagies and Insomnia Cookies are opening in the first half of 2026.
Ardmore
Nearby, in Ardmore, Dan Tsao is opening his popular Sichuan eatery this summer at 98 Cricket Ave.
South Jersey burger chain Gouldsburger’s has a store opening in January in Ardmore.
Viral bagel chain PopUp Bagels plans to open in Ardmore’s Suburban Square early this year.
