New Hope’s Bradley Cooper Celebrates Anniversary of Cheesesteak Restaurant

To celebrate the one-year anniversary of his restaurant, Danny & Coop’s, New Hope resident Bradley Cooper appeared on Good Morning America.

New Hope resident Bradley Cooper paid a visit to Good Morning America’s set with fresh cheesesteaks to celebrate Danny & Coop’s one-year anniversary, writes Sabrina Weiss for People.

Cooper opened the New York restaurant in January 2025 with Angelo’s Pizzeria owner Danny DiGiampietro.

The co-owners were complimented by the talk show’s anchors, who raved about the quality of the cheesesteaks with their perfectly melted cheese and rolls.

Cooper and DiGiampietro reflected on the milestone while the crew enjoyed their sandwiches.

The Silver Linings Playbook actor offered his thanks to the workers and line cooks at Danny & Coop’s, calling DiGiampietro “the maestro.”

“He called me one day and he said, ‘You’ve been dodging me for long enough. I want to open a cheesesteak place in New York.’ And I thought he was kidding,” said DiGiampietro. “But I tell you, he is in there cooking, cleaning. He’s the first one in, he’s the last one to leave. I can vouch for him.”

The restaurant began as a food truck, opening in December 2023, before finally opening its official location last year.
