New Jersey Travel Company Relocates to New Headquarters in Fairless Hills

Starr Bus Charter & Tours, the New Jersey-based travel company, will be relocating its headquarters to Fairless Hills in January.

The New Jersey-based travel company Starr Bus Charter & Tours is relocating its headquarters to Fairless Hills on Jan. 5, writes Emma Dooling for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The 78-year-old company will now be housed in a 22,000-square-foot space, formerly a car dealership and auto shop, at 394 Lincoln Hwy.

Starr currently has 100 full- and part-time employees and 30 buses.

Sandy Borowsky, co-owner of Starr, stated that the company will be bringing new jobs and increased revenue to the county. She said it will also draw more appeal to the area.

“People will be interested to know where we are and learn more about what’s around us,” she said.

The new space will feature modernized offices as well as a lounge where drivers can rest and plan trips.

Starr’s bus charter service extends throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania, as well as New Jersey, New York, and Delaware.

The company offers one- to 27-day motorcoach vacations to spots like Niagara Falls, Lancaster, and Washington, D.C. Customers can also explore their cruise trips and air travel packages.

Sandy Borowsky and her husband, Pete, are Bucks County residents, as are many of their employees.

Their closer proximity to Philadelphia will provide them with greater access to motorcoach drivers looking to join the Starr team.
