Focus Delaware County: Building the Workforce of Tomorrow
Join State Sen. John Kane, State Rep. Craig Williams, and State Rep. Dave Delloso for an important forum focused on building the workforce of tomorrow.
This conversation on Friday, Dec. 5, from 8 to 10 AM, will bring together leaders from business, labor, and education who are actively shaping the future of Delaware County’s talent pipeline.
The event takes place at the I.B.E.W. International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers 654, 3729 Chichester Ave. in Boothwyn.

2026 Be Seen: Small Business Forum
Delaware County Council, Bank of America, Delaware County Chamber of Commerce, and America250 invite local businesses to a special forum on preparing for the surge in activity surrounding the FIFA World Cup, America250, the MLB All-Star Game, and the PGA Championship.

The Delaware County Chamber of Commerce celebrates the grand opening of Maris Seafood Restaurant, 214 W State Street, in Media.
The free Ribbon Cutting Celebration will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 10, at 3 PM.
Located in the heart of Media, Maris brings the vibrant flavors of the Mediterranean coast to “Everybody’s Hometown”.
Its menu showcases the freshest seafood complemented by citrus, herbs, and olive oil, along with other Mediterranean-inspired dishes.

Delaware County Volunteer Fair
Are you looking to get involved in your community?
Come to this free volunteer fair on Tuesday, Dec. 16, 8:30 to 10:30 AM, at Penn State Brandywine, 25 Yearsley Mill Road in Media, to meet local nonprofits on how you can get involved as a volunteer, board member, or committee member.
Find the local nonprofit that speaks to your passion at this nonprofit fair. Volunteering is also a great way to network!
All are welcome to meet and greet with the area nonprofit at the Student Union Building, lower level.
Learn about one-time and ongoing volunteer opportunities for individuals and organizations to participate in.
Nonprofit members are invited to showcase their mission at this tabletop event. Each nonprofit that registers will be given a display table and be included in an info packet.

Holiday Business After Hours
Join the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce for a festive evening of networking at John Robert Cellars in downtown Media.
This holiday gathering on Wednesday, Dec. 17, 4 to 6 PM, is located at 115 West State Street in Media.
This After Hours event is an opportunity to make new connections, strengthen existing relationships, and celebrate the season alongside fellow professionals.
John Robert Cellars was founded by best friends of 50 years, John Irving and Robert Goodwin, who left engineering to pursue their dream of opening a winery.
Their Media tasting room features locally crafted wines, delicious tapas, and a warm, intimate atmosphere.
Guests will also have the opportunity to sample their signature sweet wine, Delco, created in honor of their Delaware County roots.
All wines are produced by co-owner and winemaker Robert Goodwin at their Essington winery and are available for purchase in both locations.
Guests are welcome to dress festively for the season as we come together just days before Christmas.
The event is $25 for Chamber members, $35 for prospective members. Registration includes one glass of wine and light bites.
