Full-Time Laundry Technician

Dunwoody Village is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Full Time EVS Laundry Technician. This position does require working a weekend and holiday rotation. 

The EVS Laundry Technician will have knowledge of industrial laundry equipment and should have hospital or hotel laundry experience. They will perform any and all duties as assigned. Candidate must have 1+ years of experience as an EVS Laundry Technician or housekeeper.

All offers of positions are contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check, satisfactory references, Influenza record, and drug screen.

Full-Time RN Supervisor

Dunwoody Village is seeking to fill a Full-Time Registered Nurse Supervisor, 11 PM-7:30 AM shift. This position requires working a weekend and holiday rotation.

The supervisor is responsible for clinical supervision of long-term care and short-term rehabilitation units. RN Supervisors should understand that they will also be expected to accept floor assignments as necessary.

Key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Comprehensive onboarding, training, and mentoring of staff.
  • Supervising, auditing, and monitoring of above units.
  • Ensuring that Pennsylvania Department of Health (DOH) regulations/guidelines are followed.

Eligible candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of long-term care experience and excellent assessment skills.
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience as a primary role.
  • Must be a PA-licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with current CPR certification.
  • Point Click Care experience.

Fitness Manager

Dunwoody Village is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to fill a Fitness Manager position.

The Fitness Manager is responsible for the design, implementation, and management of its overall fitness programs that cater to the specific needs, abilities, and interests of residents within our community. 

The focus will be to encompass various aspects of fitness, including land-based exercises, aquatic exercises, strength training, and personal training. 

The overarching goal is to promote overall health and wellness.  The Fitness Manager will also serve as an integral member of our interdisciplinary team and will work closely with team members across other departments on various initiatives, projects, events, and activities.

The successful incumbent will possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Physiology, Kinesiology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years in a similar position – experience starting a program from the ground up is desired.
  • The intrinsic ability to successfully lead and motivate all members of the Dunwoody Village community to focus on their health and well-being.

The successful candidate must have experience with age-specific competencies of the geriatric population in a long-term care setting. This person should also possess strong computer skills, including the ability to utilize Microsoft Office programs. The ability to positively communicate with people of diverse backgrounds and education levels is paramount.
