Not sure if you’ve heard, but Jason Kelce’s brother just got engaged.
Not sure who the woman is. Think she’s some kind of an entertainer.
Yep. It’s happened. Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are engaged.
Swift announced the engagement on Tuesday afternoon on an Instagram post, accompanied by her song “So High School,” which was reportedly inspired by their relationship, writes Emily Bloch for The Philadelphia Inquirer.
The couple has been together for two years.
Despite overwhelming public attention, Swift’s personal life is not often on display, especially during a media campaign for her 12th album, “The Life of a Showgirl.”
The New Heights podcast, hosted by Travis Kelce and his brother, former Eagles center Jason Kelce of Haverford, extended its congratulations on social media.
Fans have been holding their breath for an engagement since January 2024, after Philadelphia-based jeweler Steven Singer offered Travis a 7.5-carat emerald-cut diamond ring if Kelce would pop the question.
Though Singer ultimately lost out on making the $1.5 to $2 million engagement ring, he has offered to make the couple’s wedding bands and donate the value to a charity of their choosing.
