Piramal Pharma Solutions and NewAmsterdam Pharma Company will be opening a dedicated oral solid dosage form suite at Piramal’s facility in Sellersville.
The Sellersville site is one of Piramal Pharma Solutions’ focused drug product facilities offering comprehensive development and manufacturing services for a variety of formulations, including various oral solid dosages.
The new suite will enhance the site’s operational efficiency. It will help NewAmsterdam Pharma deliver its investigational drug therapy to patients in need, pending approval.
The project is a multi-million-dollar investment in equipment upgrades and improvements of the site’s capabilities. This includes the reconfiguration of existing space to make room for a dedicated OSD suite that will be used strictly for fixed-dose combination products.
The dedicated suite is designed for turnkey, multi-layer tablet production, providing advanced technology for granulation, compression, tableting and coating.

The suite will support production of investigational FDC, NewAmsterdam Pharma’s non-statin cholesterol medication aimed at reducing LDL-C.
