The Wildflower Collective, a space for new moms or women needing to rest, recharge, and reconnect, has opened at a new location in Havertown, reports the Daily Times.
The Collective reopened June 22 at 16 E. Eagle Drive.
Founded by Rachel Creighton, the Wildflower Collective is a designed space that invites women at all stages of life to rediscover themselves.
Creighton, of Rachel Roshani Photography, was inspired by her own postpartum depression she experienced after the birth of her twins.
“This feeling of loneliness was all-consuming, and I desperately wanted to feel like myself again,” she said in a release. “That tension between needing rest and craving community is exactly what this space was built to hold.”
The focus of the space is on women’s mental health.
Women can enjoy a handcrafted latte in the Coffee Lounge, read a book, or meet a friend, as well as gather around a Communal Table for co-working, creative brainstorming, casual meals, or support circles.
In-studio photography sessions are also available with Creighton in the natural, light-filled foyer for families and professionals seeking professional portraits.
TWC will also host intimate gatherings and workshops for local women.
