Therese and Gary Albertini, new owners of the former Wycombe House restaurant, will debut the renovated space as Wycombe Tavern and Grill with its grand reopening on Friday, writes Emma Dooling for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
The couple acquired the property on May 2 for $1.5 million and undertook a full interior renovation of the 123-year-old building.
The couple purchased the building from Jerry Driscoll, who bought it in February 2022 for $700,000. At the time, the property was home to the Wycombe Publick House. Driscoll renovated the building and reopened it as the Wycombe House, which closed in December 2023.
The two-story building has served as a dining establishment for over a century.
The new restaurant will offer pub and comfort food, such as sandwiches, salads, pasta, and homemade gelato. The menu will also feature popular dishes and drinks from the Albertinis’ other restaurants, such as several Mexican options as well as their much loved margarita from Casa Toro.
Wycombe Tavern and Grill will have a total capacity of 142 divided between its indoor space and the outdoor patio area.
