Delaware County fireworks are ready to take off this week. Here are a few good spots to check out this year, according to the 6abc staff and Visit Delco.
July 2
Upper Darby fireworks take place July 2, starting at 9 PM, at Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast High School, 403 N. Lansdowne Ave. in Drexel Hill.
July 3
Bethel Township starts their fireworks at dusk on July 3, with a rain date of July 5, at the Bethel Springs Elementary School, 3280 Foulk Road in Garnet Valley.
July 4
Aston Township begins its fireworks at dusk at Sun Valley High School, 2881 Pancoast Ave. in Aston.
Clifton Heights fireworks take place starting at 9 PM at Clifton Field, 221 N. Springfield Road in Clifton Heights. Though the event does not allow spectators on the field, the fireworks will be shot high enough to be seen from residences throughout the borough.
July 5
Ridley Park fireworks begin at dusk July 5 at Ridley Park Lake, West Ridley and Constitution in Ridley Park.
Upper Chichester fireworks start at dusk July 5 at the Upper Chichester Municipal Complex, 8500 Furey Road. Spectators can also visit dozens of food trucks that will open at 6 PM.
