Meridian Bank Named a 2025 Top Workplace by ‘The Philadelphia Inquirer’

Meridian Bank named a 2025 Top Workplace in the Delaware Valley, ranking fourth in mid-sized companies, first among financial institutions.

Meridian Bank has been named a Top Workplace in the Delaware Valley by The Philadelphia Inquirer in its May 18 edition. Ranked fourth among companies with 150-499 employees, Meridian is the highest-ranking financial institution.

Meridian ranked well above other commercial banks in the Top Workplaces program in three key metrics: pay (17 percent higher than benchmark), interdepartmental cooperation (16 percent higher), and execution (16 percent higher). Meridian also earned special recognition for ranking in the top 5 percent of its benchmark in four key culture areas: supportive managers, innovation, cross-team cooperation, and work-life balance.

“We’re constantly evaluating our competitiveness as a company relative to our peers, and are always looking for new ways to improve our benefits package, culture, and attractiveness to employees. Keeping employee engagement top of mind for more than 20 years has led us to be consistently named a Top Workplace in the region,” said Meridian Chief Human Resources Officer Tracy Panati.

Only 144 companies made this year’s list, and the full list of winners can be found on The Inquirer’s website or in their May 18 issue. The data was gathered through an anonymous survey of more than 215 Meridian Bank employees. Energage LLC partnered with The Philadelphia Inquirer to administer the survey, which measured employee experiences, culture drivers, and component themes within the organization, including alignment, execution, and connection.
