Anthology Senior Living in King of Prussia has been sold for $27.4 million to Ohio-based real estate investment trust Welltower, about four years after its completion, writes Paul Schwedelson for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
The 11-story senior living building, previously owned by Chicago developer CA Ventures, spans 255,000 square feet and was the tallest building at the Village at Valley Forge when it was completed in 2020. In February, the new owner leased the building to Legend Senior Living of Wichita, Kansas, which rebranded it as Revelle King of Prussia.
Legend is offering a mix of units ranging from independent to personal to memory care. The top floor is dedicated to various amenities, including a salon and spa, theater, gym, restaurants, outdoor decks, and several other gathering spaces. The memory care section is equipped with its own amenity spaces.
Monthly rent for personal care units starts at $5,949.
With the addition of Revelle King of Prussia, Legend now operates 15 senior living properties in Pennsylvania. Nationwide, it manages 68 communities across six states.
Welltower owns over 1,500 senior and wellness housing communities nationwide.
