Nature’s Vin in Wayne Champions Women Through Natural Wine

Nature's Vin, coming to Wayne, focuses on natural, biodynamic, and organic wines made by women around the world.

Ragini Parmar was eager to try something else when she moved back to the Main Line after retiring from a tech career on the West Coast, writes Kaitlyn McCullough for Main Line Today.

Then she poured herself a glass of natural wine.

“When I moved back from the West Coast, I noticed that [natural wine] did not exist here in this area,” Parmar says.

Natural wines, like its organic sister, prioritizes minimal intervention and sustainable practices but also requires that nothing be added or removed from the product.

Parmar decided it was time to open a natural wine bar and boutique shop. This summer, she’s opening Nature’s Vin in Wayne.

It will feature natural, biodynamic and organic wines made by women from around the world.

The venue will also be an education hub and include a tasting room to sample natural wines.

The intentional focus on women highlights a wine industry dominated by men and commercialized wines.

“I want it to be a very special place for women in the community,” Parmar says. “I wanted to empower women and have a place for women to come together.”
