Full-Time LPN

Dunwoody Village in Newtown Square is s currently seeking dedicated and caring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join its team for a Full Time 3-11:30 PM position which includes working a weekend and holiday rotation.

Those hired will receive a $10,000 sign on bonus during their first year of employment. Primary nursing duties include:

  • Provide exceptional resident care according to the Plan of Care.
  • Provide a safe environment for our residents.
  • Comply with all documentation and record-keeping requirements (utilizing Point Click Care).
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication, documentation, and computer skills.

Eligible candidates must meet the following qualifications: 

  • Demonstrated experience working in a Memory Care neighborhood with residents who have Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other cognitive conditions. Personal Care and Memory Care experience strongly preferred.
  • Must be a PA licensed Practical Nurse with current CPR certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of long-term care experience and excellent assessment skills.
  • Point Click Care experience strongly preferred.

Dunwoody Village is seeking dedicated and caring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join its team for a Full Time 7 AM-3 PM position which includes working a weekend and holiday rotation.

Those hired will receive a $4,000 sign on bonus during their first year of employment.

Certified Nursing Assistant/CNA job duties include but are not limited to providing exceptional resident care according to Plan of Care, assist residents with personal care and hygiene and provide a safe environment for our residents and colleagues. 

Eligible candidates must meet the following qualifications: 

  • Point Click Care experience strongly preferred.

Personal Care Unit Manager

Dunwoody Village is seeking a full time Personal Care Unit Manager. Candidates must be a PA Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN).


The manager is responsible for overall clinical supervision of PC and Memory Support (MS) team members. 

Key responsibilities for this exempt-level leadership position include the following:

  • Comprehensive onboarding, training, and mentoring of PC and MS staff.
  • Planning educational programs, staff meetings and a positive work culture.
  • Flexibility to have a presence on evening and weekends as needed.
  • Ensuring that Pennsylvania Department of Human Services regulations/guidelines are followed.
  • Participate in nursing leadership weekend coverage rotation.

This highly visible position partners directly with the Personal Care Administrator and Memory Care Nurse Manager to establish goals and assists with overall management as the designee in the absence of the Administrator. 

This is a “hands-on” supervisory position and the candidate may be asked to assist with daily nursing duties as needed. This position will also be required to work an on-call weekend rotation.

Qualified candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Willing to embrace and educate on a person-directed approach to care.
  • Minimum of 2 years of personal care and/or memory care experience with excellent assessment and clinical skills.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years in a supervisory role+ strong willingness to hold employees accountable for maintaining the highest levels of nursing standards and professionalism.
  • Must be a PA licensed Registered Nurse (RN) or PA Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with current CPR certification.
  • Strong working knowledge of 55 PA Code Chapter 2600- Personal Care Homes Regulations required.
  • Strong working knowledge of incident reports, RASPs, DMEs, and admission protocols + the ability and desire to ensure that team members are fully knowledgeable in the same.
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently work within a PointClickCare medical records system is strongly preferred.
