Chubb, the insurance giant, is set to be the newest member of Philadelphia’s skyline in Center City, writes Ryan Sharrow for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
Parkway Corp. is developing a new 18-story, 438,000-square-foot headquarters for Chubb, which is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2026.
The insurance giant is expected to have 3,200 employees located in the new building, which includes 1,250 jobs that will be new to the Philadelphia region.
According to Parkway CEO Rob Zuritsky, the several hundred new positions will make it one of Pennsylvania’s largest projects when it comes to economic development.
Once constructed, Chubb will join the many other big-name Philadelphia companies that are part of the Center City skyline. Other companies include Jefferson, WSFS Bank, Aramark, and FMC Corporation.
Chubb’s new building is the largest office building currently under development in the region, and will the company will be the only tenant in said building.
