The Coordination of Associations of People with Down Syndrome, known as CoorDown, launched this “No Decision Without Us” campaign. In the musical video, people with different disabilities in various situations demand their voices be heard when making decisions.

Blindness, deafness, individuals with height restrictions, people who are wheelchair-bound, and others are all featured in the video.

“Many people with intellectual disabilities can learn from making their own decisions. Many people with intellectual disabilities can make a stand that they are capable enough of making their own perspectives or reasons as to making decisions,” stated Mia, who has Down syndrome

The video garnered over 8 million views on Instagram and around 3 million on TikTok within a week.

Natalie Saenz Rodriguez, Mia’s mother, spoke on the importance of everyone being able to voice their opinions.

CoorDown is determined to promote inclusivity in its messaging and work toward a better future for those with disabilities.
