Eagles Mascots Noah and Reggie Will Watch Super Bowl from Home at Elmwood Park Zoo

The Eagles‘ official mascots, Noah and Reggie, never miss a home game and will be watching the Super Bowl this Sunday from their home at Elmwood Park Zoo in Norristown, writes Rita Giordano for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

The two eagles, who are also education ambassadors for the Elmwood Park Zoo, are the heart of the Eagles’ decade-long live mascot program and fan favorites at Lincoln Financial Field throughout the entire season.

Their duties differ from Lincoln, the Tennessee bird from the American Eagle Foundation, who does the pregame field fly-overs.

“We attend every home game,” said Laura Soder, the Norristown zoo’s assistant director for education and lead eagle trainer. “We’re always out on the plaza for about three hours before kickoff to be with guests and let people come up nice and close and get photos and talk to us.”

Noah and Reggie also attend Eagles training camps and many other team-sponsored special functions, such as autism awareness events.

“It’s pretty much anything that the Eagles are hosting that they want their live mascots for, we’re there,” said Soder.
