The Wyndham Garden Philadelphia Airport hotel in Essington near Philadelphia International Airport has a new owner and a new name following a $10 million sale, writes Emma Dooling for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
The 308-room hotel at 45 Industrial Highway is now known as the Quality Hotel Philadelphia International Airport.
In addition to rooms, the six-story hotel has 7,000 square feet of meeting space and a fitness center..
It’s location about four miles from the airport.
According to property records, It sold in early October to Omni Hospitality LLC, registered to Moorestown, New Jersey resident Deepak Verma.
The Wyndham Garden Philadelphia Airport hotel was owned by Majestic Holdings, LLC.
Verma declined comment on the purchase..
Quality is part of Choice Hotels International and is Choice Hotel’s founding brand, dating back to 1939.
Other Quality hotels in the region are in Bensalem, Montgomeryville, Morrisville. There is also a Center City Quality hotel at 1208 Walnut Street, rebranded from Red Lion Inn & Suites last year.
A nearby property, the DoubleTree by Hilton Philadelphia Airport, is undergoing an $11.5 million renovation, set to finish by April 2026.
