Binky Lee Preserve in Chester Springs offers 112 acres of beautifully kept farmland that has been converted into natural woodlands and fields. To help the preserve flourish into a stunning piece of nature, more than 50,000 native trees have been planted across the land.
With the restored trees providing habitat for wildlife, Binky Lee Preserve is a breathtaking area to observe wildfire while you hike around.
ChesLen Preserve in Coatesville is the largest privately owned nature preserve in the county, expanding over 1,200 acres. The spacious preserve is filled with hiking trails, set with sights of wildlife, fields of flowers, and flowing streams of water. It is truly a nature lover’s paradise. What better place to get into shape at?
Marsh Creek State Park in Downingtown is a destination all year round. The state park spans nearly 1,800 acres and includes the 535-acre Marsh Creek Lake.
For those who want to enjoy nature in the winter season, the park offers plenty of activities, such as sledding, ice skating, and ice fishing. Hikers can also venture through the 19.5 miles of trails.
