The MICHELIN Guide announced top honors for top U.S. hotels in 2024, and two Philadelphia hotels were named to the list, according to the MICHELIN Guide.
The two Philadelphia hotels are Guild House Philadelphia and The Rittenhouse Hotel, respectively.
The Guild House Hotel is located inside a landmark 1855 rowhome inside Midtown Village. The boutique hotel has 12 rooms and suites named for 12 notable women from the house’s earlier incarnation as the proto-feminist New Century Guild. The hotel’s rooms and suites are notable for not only their electric, photogenic interiors, but also for their comforts.
“Proper hotel service is ever-present, if unobtrusive, and while there’s no in-house restaurant, the Guild House’s concierge is your guide to the neighborhood and greater city,” MICHELIN writes.
Meanwhile, the Rittenhouse Hotel is a 33-story high-rise that gives away little about the luxurious small hotel that lies within.
“An elegant and charming classic, the Rittenhouse is one of the city’s most exclusive lodgings, offering not only the largest rooms in Philadelphia-each spanning some 450 to 1,700 square feet-but some of the most lavish as well,” writes MICHELIN.
Each room is decked out in rich mahogany and vibrant fabrics and offers excellent views of Rittenhouse and the city.
