Anthropologie has entered the hospitality space with its first-ever hotel suite, “The Anna Suite by Anthropologie Home,” located inside Fishtown’s Hotel Anna & Bel, writes Laura Swartz for Philadelphia Magazine.
Once an asylum for indigent women, the stylish boutique hotel honors its Philadelphia roots and feminine history with thoughtful art and design.
The hotel’s two-bedroom penthouse has now been reimagined in partnership with Anthropologie. The result feels more like an apartment than a hotel room, and everything in it is shoppable.
The space was worked on by Anthropologie’s home design team and the creators of the hotel, Foyer Project. Meanwhile, B March provided design support.
Perched on the hotel’s private fourth floor, the suite is accessed via a private staircase. Inside, the living room features bold color pairings and playful patterns, with citrusy and light furniture and decor that echo the Mediterranean influences of the on-site restaurant, Bastia. Anthropologie’s sister brand, Terrain, contributed vibrant greenery to the space.
The suite also includes thoughtful details, such as a coffee table with storage, artful books, and sleeper sofa for extra guests.
Furthermore, the private terrace offers stunning views of the Fishtown neighborhood and Center City in the distance.
