Feeney’s Garden Center, a beloved Feasterville staple, is closing its doors for good, according to a staff report from 6abc.
The business, which has been serving the community for over seven decades, announced its plans to close last week on social media.
“The decision was not made lightly, and we are deeply grateful for the love, support and loyalty you have shown us over the years,” stated the post. “You all have been more than customers, you have been family.”
Feeney’s did not provide a reason for going out of business.
The closing sale started on Friday.
Founded in 1954 by James Feeney, the business started out as a roadside nursery and garden center that offered trees, shrubs, and fertilizer to novices of gardening, as well as landscape professionals. Over time, the business steadily grew, providing a commitment to quality merchandise and service.
