Wawa is slated to open two new stores Sept. 19 in Wilson, North Carolina, according to local news outlet The Wilson Times, as reported in convenience.org.

Grand opening first days will be celebrated with giveaways and a hoagie-building competition, free T-shirts to the first 100 customers, and free coffee through Sept. 29.

The event will include a check presentation and a charitable hoagie-building contest between Wilson FireRescue Services and the Wilson Police Department, with a trophy and checks presented to both teams.

Wawa has also started construction on a store in Dayton, Ohio, as reported by WHIOTV7.

“Wawa said since the ceremony takes place on ‘Hunger Action Day’ they plan to donate $10,000 to The Foodbank,” reports WHIOTV7.

“We are thrilled to begin construction on our Huber Heights store officially launching our expansion in the Miami Valley and getting us closer to bringing the unique Wawa experience to new customers in more new markets,” said Joe Collins, director of store operations for Wawa.

Sheetz also celebrated the opening of a new location in White Marsh, Maryland this month and is opening two new stores this September in Salisbury, North Carolina and Middletown, Virginia.
