Maddie Smith and Mia Svirsky from D.C. were tasked with embarking on a three-week tour of Pennsylvania creameries. Smith and Svirsky, who are friends and content creators, posted their delicious journey along the way.
Some creameries earned the superlatives of “Best Woman-Run Creamery,” “Best Place for a Date,” and “Best Flavor Names.”
Tanner Brothers Dairy in Ivyland earned the designation of “Best Dairy History.” It’s been a family-run business since 1880 and began selling milk and ice cream in 1971. The business eventually incorporated produce and groceries, serving as a beloved farmer’s market for the surrounding community.
