Jason Kelce Duets With Legendary Female Artist in Upcoming Christmas Album
For Jason Kelce, working with Stevie Nicks on his latest Christmas album was “unreal,” writes Escher Walcott for People Magazine.
During an Oct. 30 New Heights podcast with Jason and Travis Kelce, the retired Eagles player and Haverford resident talked about recording a duet with Nicks, 76, for the Philadelphia-themed holiday album, A Philly Special Christmas Party.
“Yeah baby. The legendary Stevie Nicks came on and did a duet with me,” Kelce said, “Which in itself is, like, pretty crazy to actually be on a track with Stevie Nicks.”
Jason went on to describe Nicks as “one of the nicest people I’ve ever talked to” with an “absolutely beautiful personality.”
“You could tell she loves people, she loves music, she loves the art of making music. [She] brought a breath of fresh air into the recording studio,” he said.
Kelce is releasing the third annual Christmas album, A Philly Special Christmas Party, on Nov. 22.
It features Kelce, and former Eagles teammates Jordan Mailata and Lane Johnson. Proceds from sales of the album will go to Philadelphia-based charities.
Nicks’ appearance is one of several special celebrity features, including a track with Travis and Jason Kelce playing homage to the Kelces’ Ohio roots.
