Jason Kelce is being compared to Sam the Snowman in Rankin and Bass' Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer but he thinks he looks more like Yukon Cornelius.

The Kelce brothers remain in the public spotlight this week with a number one hit on iTunes, writes Asha Prihar for BillyPenn at WHYY.

Eagles center Jason Kelce, who has a home in Haverford, and brother Travis, tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, teamed up on “Fairytale of Philadelphia,” a local version of the Poques’ 1987 “Fairytale of New York.”

You can find it on “A Philly Special Christmas Special”, the second holiday album by Jason Kelce and two other Eagles players, Lane Johnson, and Jason Mailata

Sales of the album benefit the Children’s Crisis Treatment Center and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

“Fairytale” was streamed more than 500,000 times on iTunes in its first 24 hours. It was the 21st best-selling song on Amazon.

Sales are being influenced by Taylor Swift fans, who started a social media campaign to get the duet on the charts.

Swift is dating Travis Kelce.

swifties we have the opportunity to do the funniest thing ever,” one fan posted. Another replied, “We legally have to make it no 1 BAHAHAHA.”

The duet lyrics are an ode to Philly and the Kelces’ brotherly love.
